MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s softball team had plenty of hits in two games but dropped two tough ones on Sunday afternoon at Cottrell Field.
To start the day, the Gaels dropped a 5-2 decision to Seattle. After Seattle scored four runs in the first three innings, the Gaels would get RBI from Erica Musgrave and Lollie Fitzpatrick but it was not enough in the loss.
Lujane Mussadi took the loss going four innings, while Katie Moss went three innings in relief with four strikeouts allowing one run.
Offensively, Fitzpatrick went 4-for-4 while the Gaels pounded out 10 hits in the game but left 12 on base.
