MORAGA, Calif. — Three future Gaels have officially signed with Saint Mary's Softball on the national signing day for the fall semester. The Gaels are excited to welcome three high school student-athletes from the class of 2022 who have all played with each other to some degree.
Victoria Cervantes will join the Gaels from Notre Dame High School in Salinas. The Spirits shortstop has been a standout during her first three seasons of play, albeit in limited fashion due to the COVID-19 pandemic. She was a full-time starter as a freshman, recording a .500 batting average on 42 hits, scoring 30 times and hitting eight home runs.
