SB | Comeback Win over UCSD Helps Saint Mary’s Split on Sunday

MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary's softball hosted the final day of the Saint Mary's Tournament on Sunday afternoon, with games against UC San Diego and San Jose State on tap for the Gaels. While the second game of the day didn't go the way of the Gaels, the first game featured an exciting come-from-behind win that saw SMC overcome a 5-1 deficit midway through the game. Saint Mary's wound up beating UC San Diego 9-6 in the first game of the day, helping them to a 4-5 record through the first two weekends of the year.
