FORT COLLINS, Colo. — Saint Mary's Softball was scheduled to head out to Fort Collins, Colorado for their fourth tournament of the season: the Colorado Classic. Due to a change in the upcoming weather forecast for the greater Fort Collins area, officials at both Colorado State and Northern Colorado have canceled this weekend's tournament.
Forecasts for the Fort Collins area initially looked pretty good for early March, with temperatures expected to be in the 50s and 60s with no precipitation. Things changed overnight, with now snow expected most of the day for Saturday and Sunday, when the Gaels were expected to play three games over the final two days of the tournament.
