GREENWOOD, Ind. – Saint Mary's Women's Rowing had three rowers named to the College Sports Communicators All-District Team in Emma Scanlan, Madison Sciba, and Hathaway Scarpine.
Scanlan, Sciba, and Scarpine all played pivotal roles in the Gaels success on the water this season, leading SMC Rowing to a successful finish at the WCC Championships just a few weeks ago.
Scarpine is one of the key leaders for the Gaels in the varsity 8 boat, often rowing in the #2 position. Following the conclusion of the WCC Championships, Scarpine was also included on the All-WCC Team.
