WEST SACRAMENTO, Calif. — On a busy morning out on the water in West Sacramento, Saint Mary's Rowing took part in the first Head of the Port race since the 2019 season fall season. The Gaels showed up with a strong showing in their first official competition of the fall season, finishing in second and third with their two boats, trailing on the lone boat of Sacramento State.
Taking on both the single boat of the Hornets and a pair of boats from UC Davis, the Gaels were able to land in second and third place overall in the five-boat race.
