SPOKANE, Wash. - The Saint Mary's Rowing team competed in the two day race at the Gonzaga Dual, making adjustments between races to see growth in a young team.
On Friday, the first varsity 8+ boat came in 27.77 behind Gonzaga's boat, came in third in the second varsity 8+ boat with a time of 7:13.24, and clocked in at 8:38.51 for the varsity 4+, 13.91 seconds behind Gonzaga's 6v boat.
After Friday's race, SMC made a couple adjustments for the Saturday races with Skye Kirsten as the coxswain, Hathaway Scarpine as the stroke, Carolyn Hucklel, Natalie Sanchez, Hanna Kugler, Katelyn Robertson, , Maria Moreno, and Katie Ferbet as the bow.
