MORAGA, Calif. – The Gaels shined on Saturday at the Head of the Lagoon meet as they took first place in the collegiate eight race as well as first and second place in the collegiate four race.
First up for Saint Mary's was the collegiate four boats who raced first thing in the morning. SMC earned first place with a race time of 21:14.5, followed closely by the second Gael boat who earned the number two spot with a 22:11.6 finish. Next up was the collegiate novice four boat who raced a 27:49.4 time and earned ninth place.
