MORAGA, Calif. — Joseph Restani has been named the Saint Mary's Student-Athlete of the Week after an incredible five-goal performance in the Gaels' two matches last week.
Against Sacramento State, Restani scored a hat trick, including the game-winning goal, while taking five shots. His final score was a pretty volley off a cross from Jake Rudel to complete the feat in the 70th minute. The Gaels ultimately won the match, 4-0.
The senior also scored both of SMC's goals in their 4-2 loss to UC Davis, their first loss since 2017 and first home loss in over three years.
