Many of the fables regarding the mythological career of Kobe Bryant can be exposed fairly easily. Of course, no one can debate the accolades. He made 18 All Star Teams, helped lead teams to 5 NBA Titles, and ended up scoring more points in a Lakers uniform than anyone ever. These undeniable achievements have Kobe destined for the Hall of Fame, and rightfully so. All these facts notwithstanding, Kobe’s career is, and probably always will be, marvelously, excruciatingly overrated.
One of this era’s greatest players also happens to be its most overrated.
