Peyton Manning’s legendary career has spanned 18 seasons, complete with two Super Bowl victories and five MVP awards. Manning may be one of the most prominent figures in the sports industry, not only for his elite play, but for his willingness to be featured in commercials for companies such as Papa John’s, MasterCard, and DirecTV. Manning has successfully created a fatherly, all-American image for himself that many Americans can respect and relate to. However, there is a black mark on Peyton Manning’s record: an accusation of a sexual assault that occurred when he was the star quarterback for the University of Tennessee back in 1996.
