Since we finished our too-soon rankings in April, dozens of players have gone to the NBA early and hundreds have transferred. The landscape of college basketball is as chaotic as it has ever been, even as transfer recruiting winds down.
Where then, does that leaves us with regards to a ranking? The players at the top (Kentucky, Duke, etc.) are all unchanged, but much of the spots between 10 and 25 will likely look very different as coaches integrate system and recruits join new rosters.
Some teams that I think are rocketing up the national landscape, but ones you won’t find in this list, are schools like Texas Tech or Florida State.
