DAVIS, Calif. - The doubles pairing of Thibaud Maxant and Diego Jarry reached the doubles finals at the Aggie Invite, and singles player Pierre Lieutaud made the semifinals of the Flight B bracket before their runs ended on Sunday.
Maxant and Jarry lost to Ivan Savkin and Ryan Torres of the host Aggies 8-5 in the doubles championship. Nonetheless it was an impressive tournament for the two juniors in doulbes play, accumulating three-straight wins before the finals against the UC Davis tandem.
Lieutaud fell 7-5, 6-3 in the Flight B semininals to Alexander Watanabe Eriksson of UC Santa Barbara on Sunday.
