DAVIS, Calif. — The Saint Mary’s men’s tennis team earned three victories Saturday on day two of the Aggie Invitational at UC Davis’ Marya Welch Tennis Center.
Calvin Jordaan teamed with Nash Vollenweider to win in the first round of the A Doubles consolation bracket, beating Felix Fan and Pierre Garcia of Portland, 8-6. Jackson Hawk and David Krutik teamed up to defeat Hermont Legaspi and Izik Walsh of Sacramento State, 8-6 in the C Doubles round robin bracket.
Matthew Campana won in B Singles consolation, defeating Pacific’s Kumara Adavelly, 6-2, 6-7(5), 1-0(5). Vollenweider, who went 2-0 on Friday in the B Singles bracket, fell in his quarterfinals match to eighth-seeded Dominic Barretto of California, 6-4, 6-1.
