MORAGA, Calif. — Damon Kesaris continued his winning ways Saturday, but Saint Mary’s (6-10, 1-3 WCC) fell just short to a hot Santa Clara (13-3, 3-2 WCC) team in a tough West Coast Conference battle.
Kesaris notched his eighth straight win in singles competition, and remains a perfect 5-0 as the top singles player for the Gaels after today’s straight set victory.
“Damon continues to play great tennis,” said Saint Mary’s head coach Greg Kennett. “He is a very strong competitor and tennis player.”
Kesaris played with great intensity in his singles match versus Robert Seby.
