BERKELEY, Calif.— On an eventful day filled with tennis and evening rain, the Saint Mary’s men’s tennis team saw several impressive wins in today’s consolations brackets at the USTA/ITA Men’s Regional Championships.
Nash Vollenweider and Calvin Jordaan put on a display on the court today, as the duo recorded a dominating 8-1 win in doubles action. The pair worked well together and forced Hermont Legaspi and Izik Walsh of Sacramento State into costly unforced errors.
The Gaels claimed four victories in singles play before the rain came down for the second straight day.
