MORAGA, Calif. - Saint Mary's College is hosting the ITA Northwest Regional Championships through this weekend at the Korth Tennis Complex, and had three wins in their six matches on day one.
Boris Reckow defeated Ryan Ali of Santa Clara 6-4, 6-4 and Carlos Ramos Membrives topped Peter Alam of Pacific 3-6, 6-3, 6-3. Reckow will play Nitzan Ricklis of the University of San Francisco at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. Ramos Membrives will take on Santiago Hinojosa of Santa Clara at 1:00 p.m. on day two.
James Watt had a bye in the first round after winning the A Flight Singles bracket at UC Santa Barbara over the weekend and will face Rudolfs Aksenoks at 11:00 a.
