MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's Men's Tennis opened WCC play with a huge win over LMU in a 4-0 shutout of the Lions.
Thibaud Maxant and Mathis Moysan set the tone for the day with a 6-4 win in the first doubles match to finish. The Gaels clinched the doubles point when Carlos Ramos Membrives and Ellison Greco outlasted Yassine Smiej and Toky Ranaivo for a 7-5 win.
SMC would waste little time in running the table in the singles competition as Paulo Hugo Etchecoin defeated Max Wuelfing 6-4, 6-2 to go up 2-0.
