SACRAMENTO — The Saint Mary’s men’s tennis team heads up north to the state capitol for the Golden State Invitational beginning on Friday, March 10.
The three-day tournament is co-hosted by Sacramento State and UC Davis. The field of competitors includes Sacramento State, UC Davis, Grand Canyon, Nevada, Northern Colorado, Portland, New Mexico State and the Gaels.
SMC gets the action started versus UC Davis on Friday at 2 p.m. at the Aggies Marya Welch Tennis Center.
The Gaels faced the Aggies three weeks ago for a home contest, falling to UCD, 6-1. In the dual match versus UCD, Nash Vollenweider collected two stellar victories for the Gaels.
