SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s men’s tennis team went up against one of the nation’s best in San Diego State and fell short against the Aztecs on the Cal Poly campus.
The day started with SDSU earning the doubles point as Jacob Lagman and Daniel Krutik fell short 6-2 and Nash Vollenweider and Manuel De Luis Lamelas fell 6-2. Alex Hunt and James Markiewicz were leading at No. 1 doubles 5-3 before the match was called and singles play began.
At No. 1 singles, Hunt fell to Fred Gelbrich 6-4, 6-2, while at No.
