MORAGA, Calif. – The Saint Mary’s men’s tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision on the road at Gonzaga in West Coast Conference action on Friday afternoon.
In doubles action, Alex Hunt and James Markiewicz fell at No. 1, while Nash Vollenweider and Manuel De Luis Lamelas took a 6-2 loss. Match three went unfinished as Jacob Lagman and Alec Wagner teamed up to a 3-3 score before being called.
In singles action, Hunt fell at No. 1, 6-2, 6-3. At No. 2, Markiewicz battled in the first set but fell 6-4, 6-1. At No. 3, Vollenweider fell 6-4, 6-1.
