SAN MATEO, Calif. - SMC Men's Soccer had six players honored in the West Coast Conference's end-of-the-season awards for the second season in a row.
Senior Sebastian Schacht was named All-WCC First Team, sophomore Louis Sterobo and freshman Riley Lynch were selected to the All-WCC Second Team, and junior Boyd Curry received All-WCC Honorable Mention.
Riley was joined by fellow newcomers Jan Marpe and Gael Quintero on the All-WCC Freshman Team as well. The Gaels led the conference in players named to the All-WCC Freshman team, which bodes well for the future of the Gaels after having one of the younger teams in the Coach Adam Cooper era in 2021.
