DAVIS, Calif. – Saint Mary's came away with a 1-0 over UC Davis on Sunday, behind a strong game from keeper Jack Landreth and the first career goal for Fynn Allmon.
Landreth made his presence felt right away with two big saves in the 10th minute. The first stop was a sprawling save to his right, followed by him smothering second shot from close range.
The junior made a leaping save in 25th minute off a set piece, where Landreth had to jump backwards and punch the ball away from the top left corner of the net.
