SAN MATEO, Calif. — Lucas Andrews has been named the West Coast Conference Offensive Player of the Week for his performance against Gonzaga over the weekend. The award is the first such honor for Andrews in his career.
Andrews scored the game-winning goal in No. 22 Saint Mary's 2-0 win against the Zags. The senior tallied the goal in the 20th minute off a long throw in from teammate Christian Engmann and tapped in the pass from just outside the six-yard box. Andrews led the team with three shots on goal to help SMC move to 3-0-1 on the year.
