MORAGA, Calif. — Saint Mary’s women’s tennis player Danielle McIntyre was named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 6-12 after leading the Gaels to a split in the week’s action versus Washington and San Diego State.
Playing as the No. 3 singles player for SMC, McIntyre also claimed a big win during singles action in the 5-2 victory over the Aztecs.
McIntyre, a first year player for the Gaels, has taken the No. 1 spot in doubles action with partner Emma Critser. The duo impressed with two convincing wins to help SMC claim the doubles point versus the Huskies and Aztecs.
