LAS VEGAS, Nev. – In a game that came down to the wire, the Saint Mary’s men’s basketball team fell in the West Coast Conference title game 85-75 to Gonzaga on Tuesday night in Las Vegas.
Saint Mary’s shot the ball well but it was Gonzaga who shot it a tad better, coming in at 61.7 percent for the game. SMC was hot from long distance converting 12-of-25 three-pointers. SMC had a chance to take the lead late in the fourth, but a three ball by Naar was just long.
Naar finished with a game-high 25 points, adding six assists.
