MORAGA, Calif. — Seven programs that played in the 2015-16 postseason, including six that won at least 24 games a year ago, highlight the Saint Mary’s men’s basketball 2016-17 non-conference schedule, announced by Gaels head coach Randy Bennett.
The Gaels’ non-conference schedule variety includes teams from nine different conferences across the country and also features Bay Area clashes against Stanford and San Jose State. Saint Mary’s foes that made the postseason a year ago include NCAA Tournament qualifier Dayton (25-8 in 2015-16), Conference USA champions and NIT participant UAB (26-7), College Basketball Invitational champions Nevada (24-14) and four CollegeInsider.
