SAN BRUNO, Calif. — After a career night which culminated into a 81-63 rout over visiting Nevada, Jock Landale of No. 17 Saint Mary’s was named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week.
The 6-11 center from El Malvern, Victoria, Australia dominated in the season debut, as the junior scored a career high 33 points on an efficient 15 for 20 from the field. Landale also recorded a new high, nine rebounds over the 33 minutes he played. Landale’s previous high of 24 points came during the 2015-16 season in a 78-62 win over Pacific where he shot a perfect 7 for 7 from the field.
