MORAGA, Calif. -- The nation’s leader in shooting percentage put on another impressive outing tonight as the Saint Mary’s men’s basketball team shot 63 percent from the field en route to an 89-74 win over the University of Portland.
The Aussie duo of Dane Pineau and Emmett Naar each scored 20 points to lead all scorers as Saint Mary's won its 15th straight home game and remained in sole possession of first place in the West Coast Conference.
Pineau, a native of Melbourne, recorded his fourth double-double of the year and fell just short of the program record by going 10-for-11 from the field.
