MBK | Gaels Survive In Stockton, Claim Victory Over Pacific

STOCKTON, Calif. -- Calvin Hermanson scored 20 points and the Saint Mary's men's basketball team made some clutch defensive plays down the stretch to outlast the University of the Pacific 65-63 Saturday night at the Spanos Center.

The victory pushed the Gaels' record to 18-2 overall and 9-1 in the West Coast Conference and was its sixth straight over the Tigers since they rejoined the league three years ago. Pacific fell to 6-14 overall and 4-6 in the WCC.

Hermanson shot 50 percent from the field and grabbed six rebounds for Saint Mary's, while Joe Rahon added 13 points, including two key 3-pointers late in the game.
