SAN ANTONIO — Another former Saint Mary's Gael is joining the NBA. According to sources familiar with the league, recent Saint Mary's graduate Tommy Kuhse has agreed to a contact with the San Antonio Spurs.
Kuhse drew the attention of teams around the league with his performance in the Las Vegas Summer League in July, where he played with the Orlando Magic. He played in three games for the Magic, and averaged 17.3 points per game on 58.3% shooting from the field, averaging 23.2 minutes per game. His breakout performance came against the New York Knicks on July 14 when he exploded for 25 points.
