NEW YORK, N.Y. — Saint Mary's Men's Basketball has won seven-straight games, and the Gaels are making moves nationally. In Week 14 of the AP Top-25, Saint Mary's is ranked No. 22 in the country, their first AP Top-25 ranking since Nov. 11, 2019. The Gaels also found their way into the Top-25 Coaches Poll, also receiving a No. 22 ranking.
The Gaels have been on a roll after dropping their first WCC game of the season, winning seven-straight in conference play, actively sitting in second place in the standings behind No. 2 Gonzaga. A lot of their strong play as of late can be attributed to what the Gaels do best: efficient offense and stingy defense.
