SAN MATEO, Calif. — For the second time this season, Aidan Mahaney has been better than the rest of his young counterparts in the West Coast Conference. Just announced by the conference office, Mahaney has been named the WCC's Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, and his first weekly award since the opening week of the year.
Mahaney scored double-digits in both games for Saint Mary's this week, against New Mexico (11) and No. 1 Houston (14). While both were losses, Mahaney helped keep the Gaels in both games in different ways.
