LAS VEGAS — The West Coast Conference announced their men's basketball preseason coaches poll results today and pegged Saint Mary's to finish second in the conference race while selecting Jordan Ford and Malik Fitts to the All-WCC Preseason Team.
Saint Mary's received 75 points from the nine other schools including three first-place votes. The Gaels received just four fewer points than Gonzaga who earned the other seven first place nods to finish on top of the list. Wrapping up the top-5 in the poll were BYU (65 points), Pepperdine (56), and Santa Clara (50).
