MORAGA, Calif. — With the approval of the NCAA and Contra Costa County, Saint Mary's men's basketball had their first full practice of the season on Wednesday for the first time since the spring.
Players and coaches alike were excited to get back on the court and feel a sense of normalcy that has evaded college athletics for many months.
"Just having practice today, it was a big deal," said Gaels' head coach Randy Bennett. "We were so happy to be out there. Today was the first day we've been in UCU Pavilion for seven months so it was pretty cool.
