SAN BRUNO, Calif. — Jordan Ford has been named the West Coast Conference Player of the Week as announced by the conference today, earning the first award of the season and also the first of his career.
The senior guard scored 26 points in the Gaels' 65-63 overtime win over Wisconsin and impressively tallied every point on a field goal as he didn't shoot a single free throw in the game. Ford was 4-of-8 from beyond the arc and 11-of-24 overall from the field. He also chipped in three assists, had three steals, and grabbed two boards.
