MORAGA, Calif. —Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, travel restrictions and COVID-19 protocols in the state of Hawaii, the Maui Jim Maui Invitational will relocate to Las Vegas, as announced by the tournament on Saturday.
The 2021 event will be hosted at the Michelob ULTRA Arena at Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino Nov. 22-24, with all programs from the original field participating.
The field is still expected to include Butler, Chaminade, Houston, Notre Dame, Oregon, Texas A&M and Wisconsin. With the Gaels still facing Notre Dame in the opening round on Monday, Nov.
