MORAGA, Calif. – Saint Mary's College Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mike Matoso announced today the promotion of Josh Sims to Senior Associate Athletic Director for Sports Medicine.
In addition to overseeing the Gaels' sports medicine department, Sims will now have oversight of the sports performance department, linking both areas under one supervisor.
Under Sims, the sports performance department will now be led by Cody Butcher, who was hired to be the new Assistant AD for Sports Performance.
The combination of both the sports medicine department and sports performance department under Sims will help benefit the overall support and well-being of all Saint Mary's student-athletes.
