STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — In what was a slow start to the match, ended up being a fast-paced finish, as the Saint Mary’s lacrosse team scored 11 second-half goals, but couldn’t complete the come-from-behind win versus Wagner Monday morning, falling 16-13.
The Gaels attack was led with four goals apiece by Jocelyn Lubert and Jillian Dunlap. The duo have come on as of late, as Lubert leads the team with 20 goals while Dunlap is second with 12 scores.
Attacker Emily Mack contributed her first hat-trick of the season on four shots.
