INDIANAPOLIS — On Sunday morning, the Saint Mary’s lacrosse team (1-3, 0-2 MPSF) showcased an impressive performance en route a 16-11 win at Butler for the team’s first victory of the 2017 season.
The win marks the first victory since the 2013-14 season when the Gaels collected two wins on the season. Today’s result is also the first career win for Head Coach Alicia Florin.
Attacker Jocelyn Lubert continued her hot streak for the Gaels, scoring a game-high seven goals. The 5-7 junior now has a team-leading 13 goals on the season.
