KENNESAW, Georgia – The Saint Mary’s lacrosse team scored five second-half goals but it was not enough as Kennesaw State defeated SMC 17-6 on Wednesday afternoon at Fifth Third Bank Stadium.
Emily Mack scored a game-high four goals as SMC was outscored by just a 6-5 margin in the second half.
The Gaels took 18 shots in the game, with six by Mack. Five other Gaels took two shots apiece. Saint Mary’s trailed 23-14 in the shots on goal department.
Saint Mary’s recorded 19 ground balls, led by Kellie Barker with four ground balls.
