MORAGA, Calif. – In a game that took place under non-stop steady rain, the Saint Mary’s lacrosse team dropped a match-up with Longwood on Thursday afternoon at SMC Recreation Field.
The Gaels scored six times, led by Hanna Dalrymple and Meagan Bennett with two goals apiece. Jocelyn Lubert and Lauren Neumann also scored for SMC. Claire Healy added an assist.
The Gaels had 17 ground balls with Bennett and Molly Kuptz having three apiece. Kuptz also led the Gaels with three caused turnovers.
Bennett and Megan Zummo added a pair of caused turnovers.
In goal, Sydney Pinello had a game-high seven saves.
