LAX | Five Different Gaels Score In Match-Up With Bears

MACON, Georgia – The Saint Mary’s lacrosse team dropped the second game of its Georgia road trip, falling to Mercer on Friday afternoon.

In the first half, Annamarie Carmazzi scored to put SMC on the board. At halftime, the Gaels trailed 11-1 with seven shots, six coming on goal.

SMC had four draw controls, 12 ground balls and four saves in the first half.

In the second half, Megan Zummo and Kellie Barker scored consecutive goals for the Gaels at the 25:20 and 22:40 marks. Emily Mack scored SMC’s fourth goal of the game at the 14:49 mark.
