MORAGA, Calif. — With Saint Mary's delivering a powerful punch to the rest of the West Coast Conference last week, winning both games including a thrilling comeback win over San Francisco, they did so with several standout performances. Through it all, Tommy Kuhse was named this week's Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week for his role in navigating the Gaels to a 2-0 week.
Down by 23 to San Francisco on Thursday, including a 17-point halftime deficit, Kuhse was one of the key drivers to that comeback win. Kuhse scored eight of his 12 points in the second half, while playing the final seven minutes of the game with four fouls.
