MORAGA, Calif. — Men's basketball guard Tommy Kuhse has been named the Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 3-9 for his performances against Bethune-Cookman and New Mexico.
Kuhse scored a career-high 11 points against the Wildcats on Wednesday while also dishing out six assists and grabbing four rebounds. Saint Mary's would go on to beat Bethune-Cookman by 32 for their largest win of the season.
The redshirt sophomore was equally effective against New Mexico in the Gaels' neutral site matchup at STAPLES Center as he was a perfect 5-of-5 from the field for 10 points and notched five more dimes in the Gaels' win.
