MORAGA, Calif. — Tanner Krebs was named Muscle Milk Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Dec. 26-Jan.1 after shooting a perfect 5-for-5 from three-point land to help Saint Mary’s defeat Loyola Marymount and San Diego in the conference’s opening week.
In the recent home win over the Toreros, Krebs fell just one point shy of his career-high 13 points after posting 12 points in 18 minutes of action. The 6-6 wing has been a key spark off the bench for the Gaels, as Krebs has provided another offensive option for head coach Randy Bennett.
