MORAGA, Calif. — After enjoying great success to begin the 2022 season in the circle, Saint Mary's Softball pitcher Kayla Scott has been named this week's Bay Alarm Student-Athlete of the Week. She is the first softball player to win the award this season, and does so in her first week of eligibility (first week of the season).
Scott was a star in the circle for SMC this week, allowing just one earned run in 12 innings. She played a pivotal role in Sunday's win, tossing six innings of relief with no earned runs coming across in the win.
