MORAGA, Calif. – After impressive performances against Portland and Gonzaga to open WCC Conference play last week, Hawley Harrer of women's volleyball has been named Bay Alarm Student Athlete of the Week.
The Gaels, who've won five of their last six games, are finding their mojo as conference play kicks into high gear.
This season has been a breakout year for fifth-year opposite Harrer, who has been excelling as the veteran of the Gaels attack. She has 10 or more kills in all but two matches this season, including 14+ in four matches.
