MORAGA, Calif. -- The Saint Mary's golf team returns to action this weekend after a two-week layoff when it participates in the 2016 Desert Mountain Intercollegiate, Saturday and Saturday at Desert Mountain's Outlaw Course in Scottsdale, Ariz.
There will be 12 teams in the field, playing 54 holes in the two-day tournament. Day one will consist of 36 holes of stroke play, followed by a final 18 on day two. The Outlaw Course will be set up for a par 72 and 7,107 yards. Each program will field a team of five competitors with the low four scores in each round counting toward the team score.
