HENDERSON, Nev. – Saint Mary's Golf finished strong at the WCC Golf Championships just as they did at BYU last week in round three.
Dylan VanderVeer finished 4-under par in what was most likely his final round as a Gael, tying him for the second-best score of any golfer on day three to finish with a 222 overall, all while leading the Gaels with 14 birdies made.
Fellow grad student Michael Slesinksi also had his best round on Saturday finishing right at par and with a 222 as well.
